Basil Omiyi (Chairman)
Basil Omiyi: Chairman
B.Sc. (Chem); Dip (Petroleum Technology)
Basil Omiyi graduated with a B.Sc. in Chemistry and obtained a post-graduate diploma in Petroleum Technology, both from the University of Ibadan.
Basil Omiyi has served as the Managing Director and subsequently Country Chairman of Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited. He is currently a Director on the Board of Seplat Petroleum Development Company PLC.
Yinka Sanni (Chief Executive)
Yinka Sanni: Chief Executive
Yinka Sanni serves as Chief Executive of Stanbic IBTC Holdings and previously served as the Chief Executive at Stanbic IBTC Bank and IBTC Pension Managers Limited (IBTC Pensions). He has extensive experience in credit and marketing, corporate finance, asset management and stockbroking and has been involved in a number of landmark capital market transactions.
He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers of Nigeria.
Yinka has a B.Agric. (Hons.), Agricultural Economics from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, an MBA from the Obafemi Awolowo University and has gone through the Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Programme.
Adekunle Adedeji (Executive Director)
Mr. Adedeji is currently the Chief Financial Officer of the Stanbic IBTC Group. He has over 23 year’s post-graduation experience, with over 20 years in the banking sector. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, an MBA in Finance and has attended several executive development programmes. Prior to his appointment, he also served as Chief Financial Officer of Stanbic Ghana from May 2013 to March 2018. Prior to joining Stanbic IBTC, Mr. Adedeji previously served as Financial Controller and Regional Financial Controller for Ecobank Liberia and Nigeria respectively.
Mr. Adedeji is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria; Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria; Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers of Nigeria, a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute; an Associate of the Nigeria Institute of Management; as well as the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.
Ifeoma Esiri (Non-Executive Director)

Ifeoma Lilian Esiri holds an L.L.B. and LL.M. from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Ifeoma is a Member of the Nigerian Bar Association; International Bar Association; Nigeria Economic Summit Group and the Institute of Directors, Nigeria. She is a Notary Public and Life Member of the Capital Market Solicitors Association.
Ifeoma is Chairperson of the Board Risk Management Committee as well as the Board Legal Committee and is also a member of the Audit Committee.
Barend Kruger (Non-Executive Director)
Barend Kruger completed his schooling at Heidelberg Hoër Volkskool, and obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) degree from the University of Pretoria.
He served his articles at Peat Marwick Mitchel & Co (KPMG), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant and completed the Advanced Programme in Management at Harvard Business School.
Barend joined Standard Corporate and Merchant bank in 1985, and having fulfilled various leadership roles in Corporate and Investment Banking, was appointed as Chief Executive in 2001.
In March 2013, Barend was appointed as Co-Chief Executive Officer of the Standard Bank Group Limited. Barend currently serves as a Non-Executive Director of ICBC Standard Bank Plc and Stanbic IBTC Holdings Plc Board.
On the 31st December 2018, Barend retired from the Boards of Standard Bank of South Africa Limited, The Standard Bank Group Limited and Stanbic Bank Africa Holdings Limited.
On the 1st of June 2018, Ben was appointed to the JSE Board.
He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of South Africa and the Institute of Directors. Ben also served on the Board of The International Institute of Finance.

Ballama Manu holds a B.Sc in Accounting (First Class Honours) from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria and an M.Sc in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He was formerly the Executive Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service and Acting President of The Nigerian Stock Exchange.
Ballama Manu has served on the Board of Union Bank Plc as well as Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation. He is currently the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of Sicom Capital Services Limited.
Ballama is a member of the Board IT Committee and the Board Risk Committee.

Salamatu Suleiman holds an LL.B from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and an LL.M from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Salamatu Suleiman served as a former Commissioner for Political Affairs Peace and Security for ECOWAS and also served as a Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development, Federal Republic of Nigeria. She is currently the founder of Alkali Hussaini Foundation (for poverty eradication and empowerment of the less privileged).
Salamatu is the Chairman of the Board Remunerations Committee and a member of the Board Legal Committee.
Prof. Fabian Ajogwu SAN (Non-Executive Director)

Prof. Fabian Ajogwu, is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, and Professor of Corporate Governance at the Lagos Business School. He is also the author of several books on legal practice in Nigeria spanning corporate governance, arbitration, mergers and acquisition and commercial law amongst others.
An alumnus of the University of Lagos and University of Nigeria Nsukka where he obtained his LL.B and LL.M respectively, Professor Ajogwu holds a Doctorate degree in Law from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the IESE Business School, University of Navarra, Barcelona Spain. He has also attended several Executive Courses at the Lagos Business School, “Said” Business School University of Oxford UK, Aspen Institute Aspen Colorado U.S.A, and the Harvard Business School, Boston Massachusetts U.S.A.

Ngozi Edozien holds a B.A in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Harvard University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Ngozi was previously the Chief Executive Officer of Actis West Africa and has served on the Board of Diamond Bank Plc.
She is currently a Non-Executive Director on the Boards of Vlisco Group and PZ Cussons Plc. Ngozi is a member of the Board Risk Management Committee and the Board IT Committee.
Nkemdilim Cay Uwaje (Independent Non-Executive Director)
Ms. Uwaje began her professional career in Germany, where she worked on high profile research projects at the Max Planck Institute (MPI) for Psychiatric Research in the department for Statistical Genetics and Proteomics, as well as for the Pharmaceutical Company Affectis Pharmaceuticals AG, Germany.
She graduated from the Ludwig Maximilian University (LMU) & Technical University Munich (TUM), Germany, where she received a BSc. Hons in Bioinformatics. Her entrepreneurial journey really started with Future Software Resources Limited, and she has been at the helm of the business ever since.
Prior to her appointment at Future Software Resources Nigeria Ltd, Ms. Uwaje was involved in various research projects, such as the Wazobia Linux initiative, the EGovernment Interoperability Framework, NITDA Open Standards Framework, as well as the deployment of e-commerce and e-portal solutions in the Nigerian public and private sector.
Respected and recognised as a leader in her industry, Ms. Uwaje has been in the IT/tech business for about 10 years. She’s a recipient of many awards including the Jim Ovia Prize for Software Excel¬lence and the Etisalat Prize for Innovation. She regularly volunteers for mentoring and empowerment programmes often sharing her experiences with young Nigerians and less privileged children.
She is recognised as a 2019 Obama African Leader, Forbes’s Top Ten Female Tech Founders to watch in Africa, Global Digital Women top 10 Most Inspiring Women in Africa, Lionesses of Africa top 100 Women, YTech Top 100 most Innovative in the Nigerian Tech space, Ventures Africa 42 most Innovative Africans and has been named one of 8 Lord’s Achievers in 2019, as well as one of the top 100 Most Influential People of African Descent.
